Wilma's Orphans Inc

Wilma's Orphans Inc is a small private dog [only] rescue located on Long Island in New York that works very hard finding permanent homes for dogs who need a second, third or even fourth chance at happiness. It is a one-woman operation, and I am that woman. My name is Wilma, and I've been interested in dogs all my life. After retiring from the business world it seemed only natural to follow my dream and my passion both of which involve working with dogs, and so Wilma's Orphans Inc came into being. The main objective is to rescue homeless and unwanted dogs with adoption to loving forever families the end result. Every dog is seen by a veterinarian regardless of where it came from. They are given their rabies and distemper vaccinations, dewormed and complete blood panels taken. All dogs are spayed or neutered before adoption. If there is a medical or physical problem it is taken care of to the best of my ability. Each dog's temperament and personality is well-known so prospective adopters are fully informed before adopting. There are a variety of breeds, mixes, sizes, shapes, sexes, ages and colors. Practically something for everyone. The adoption process consists of an application, home visit, contract, and donation. Please look at all the sweet faces imploring you to take them home. You just might find the "love of your life" at Wilma's Orphans. Give us a call and come see.

Please help Lollipop!!!

Lollipop needs an operation to save her eyesight. She is only 1 year old, has juvenile cataracts, and is practically blind.
This surgery will give her back her eyesight and a normal life to look forward to.

We are shamelessly begging for donations. It doesn't matter how large or small, every little bit helps.

Clink on the link and read all about Lollipop.
